Any building that has been vacant and unmaintained for more than 90 days shall be registered with the Code Enforcement Department. The owner shall pay an annual registration fee of $200 for the first year, increasing by $200 each subsequent year of vacancy. Registered vacant buildings shall be secured against entry, maintained free of debris and overgrowth, and inspected by the owner or agent at least monthly. The City may board and secure any building that presents an immediate hazard at the owner's expense.
