§521.01 Nuisance Defined
A public nuisance is any condition that endangers the health or safety of the community, is offensive to the senses, or obstructs the reasonable use of property. Public nuisances include abandoned buildings open to unauthorized entry, the accumulation of garbage or debris, premises infested with vermin, any condition that provides a breeding ground for disease-carrying insects, and any building that is structurally unsound.
