No permanent structure shall be erected within 50 feet of the ordinary high water mark of Lake Erie. Existing structures within the setback area may be maintained but shall not be expanded toward the shoreline. Seawalls and erosion control structures are permitted within the setback with a permit from the Village and approval from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. Vegetation within the setback area shall be preserved to the greatest extent practicable.
