§505.01 Dog Registration
The owner of every dog more than three months of age shall obtain a registration certificate and tag from the County Auditor. The registration tag shall be attached to the collar of the dog and worn at all times when the dog is off the premises of the owner. Failure to register a dog is a minor misdemeanor punishable by a fine not exceeding $100.
