§505.02 Dogs Running at Large

No owner, keeper, or harborer of any dog shall allow such dog to run at large within the corporate limits of the City of Athens. Every dog found running at large is declared to be a nuisance and the Dog Warden or any police officer may seize and impound such dog. The owner of any impounded dog may reclaim the dog upon payment of the impounding fee and daily boarding fee as established by resolution of Council.
