§505.03 Dogs Running at Large

No owner or keeper of any dog shall allow such dog to run at large within the City. All dogs off the premises of the owner shall be on a leash not exceeding six feet in length and under the direct control of a person physically capable of restraining the dog. Any dog found running at large may be seized and impounded. The owner may reclaim an impounded dog upon payment of the impound fee and proof of current rabies vaccination and county registration.
