§1301.01 Adoption of Ohio Building Code

The Ohio Building Code as adopted and amended by the Ohio Board of Building Standards is hereby adopted by reference as the Building Code of the City of Marietta. The Building Official shall enforce the provisions of the Ohio Building Code within the corporate limits of the City. All references to the "Building Official" or "Authority Having Jurisdiction" in the Ohio Building Code shall mean the Building Official of the City of Marietta or an authorized designee.
