Chapter 1301: Building Regulations

The Ohio Building Code as amended is adopted for the City of Zanesville. The Building Official shall enforce all building regulations within the corporate limits. A building permit is required for all construction, alteration, demolition, or change of use with an estimated value exceeding $1,000. Plans shall be submitted in duplicate and reviewed within 15 business days. Permits expire if work has not commenced within six months.
