Chapter 1301: General Building Provisions

No person shall erect, construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, improve, remove, convert, or demolish any building or structure within the City of Athens without first obtaining a building permit from the Building Official. Application for a building permit shall be made on forms provided by the Building Department and shall be accompanied by plans and specifications drawn to scale showing the proposed work in sufficient detail to enable the Building Official to determine compliance with this Code.
