Residents may keep up to four female chickens on residential property subject to the following: a permit must be obtained from the Health Department, no roosters are permitted, the coop shall be located in the rear yard at least 15 feet from any neighboring dwelling, the coop shall be kept clean and free of offensive odors, all feed shall be stored in sealed containers, and chickens shall be confined to the owner's property at all times. The permit shall be renewed annually.
