No person shall erect, construct, alter, or demolish any building or structure without first obtaining a permit from the Building Department. Applications shall include two sets of plans and specifications, a site plan, and the applicable fee. The Building Official shall approve or deny the application within 10 business days. Work authorized by a permit shall commence within 180 days or the permit shall lapse.
