§1131.01 Sign Regulations
No sign shall be erected or displayed without a sign permit except for exempt signs listed in this section. Exempt signs include real estate signs not exceeding six square feet, political signs during election periods, and residential nameplates. Billboards are prohibited within the City. Electronic message signs are permitted in commercial districts provided the message display interval is not less than eight seconds and the sign does not exceed 5,000 nits during daylight hours or 500 nits after sunset.
