No person shall make, continue, or cause to be made any loud, unnecessary, or unusual noise that disturbs the peace and quiet of any neighborhood. Between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., it shall be unlawful to operate powered lawn equipment, conduct construction activities, or produce amplified sound audible beyond the property line. Violations shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $150 for a first offense and not more than $500 for subsequent offenses within twelve months.
