§505.07 Animal Noise

No person shall keep or harbor any animal that by frequent or habitual barking, howling, yelping, or other noise causes serious annoyance to the neighborhood. Upon receiving a written complaint signed by two or more residents of separate households, the Chief of Police shall investigate and may issue a warning to the animal owner. If the condition is not corrected within 72 hours of the warning, the owner may be cited and fined not more than $100 for a first offense.
