§1131.01 Sign Regulations
No sign shall be erected, altered, or maintained within the City of Athens except in conformity with the provisions of this chapter. All signs shall be designed, constructed, installed, and maintained so as not to endanger the public safety or welfare. No sign shall obstruct a clear view along any street or at any intersection. Temporary signs not exceeding six square feet in area may be displayed for a period not to exceed 30 days without a permit.
