A public nuisance is any condition upon real property that is detrimental to the health, safety, or welfare of the residents of the City. Public nuisances include the accumulation of garbage, trash, or junk, the existence of stagnant pools of water, the keeping of premises in an unsightly condition that depreciates property values in the neighborhood, and the existence of any building or structure that is structurally unsafe or constitutes a fire hazard.
