§1131.01 Sign Permit Required
No sign shall be erected, altered, or relocated without a sign permit except for exempt signs. Exempt signs include government signs, traffic control devices, real estate signs not exceeding six square feet, and temporary construction signs. Off-premises advertising signs (billboards) are prohibited in residential districts and the Downtown Commercial District. All signs shall be maintained in good structural condition and legible.
