Chapter 521: Nuisances

No person shall create or maintain a public nuisance within the Village. A public nuisance is any condition that endangers public health or safety, causes substantial annoyance to the community, or is offensive to the senses. The Village Manager may issue a notice of violation requiring abatement within 10 days. If the condition is not abated, the Village may take corrective action and recover costs from the responsible party.
