Open burning is prohibited within the Village except for small recreational fires in approved fire pits not exceeding three feet in diameter. Only clean, dry wood may be burned. The fire shall be at least 25 feet from any structure and attended at all times with a means of extinguishment readily available. The Fire Chief may impose a burn ban during dry conditions. Burning of leaves, yard waste, or household refuse is prohibited at all times.
