§505.07 Backyard Livestock

Residents may keep small livestock on lots of 10,000 square feet or more with a permit from the Village Manager. Permitted animals include chickens (hens only, maximum six), rabbits, and miniature goats (maximum two, does only). All animals shall be housed in an enclosed structure in the rear yard at least 20 feet from any neighboring dwelling. Manure shall be composted or removed weekly.
