Chapter 901: Water

Updated 2026-01-15
The Village water system draws from Lake Erie and serves all properties within the corporate limits connected to the water main. Due to the limited capacity of the island water treatment plant, water conservation is required at all times. No person shall waste water. Lawn irrigation systems shall be equipped with rain sensors. Commercial establishments shall install low-flow fixtures. During drought or equipment failure, the Village Manager may impose mandatory restrictions including a ban on non-essential water use.
