During periods of water shortage declared by the Village Administrator, the following conservation measures shall apply: odd-numbered addresses may use water for outdoor purposes only on odd-numbered calendar days, even-numbered addresses may use water for outdoor purposes only on even-numbered calendar days, no person shall allow water to run wastefully from any faucet, hydrant, or other fixture, and car washing shall be permitted only with a bucket and hand-held hose with an automatic shut-off nozzle.
