No person shall demolish or remove any building or structure without first obtaining a demolition permit. The application shall include proof that all utility services have been disconnected, a plan for disposal of demolition materials, and evidence that the applicant has provided written notice to all adjacent property owners at least 15 days prior to the proposed demolition date. Structures within the Historic District are subject to additional review by the Historic Preservation Commission.
