The B-1 Central Business District is established to maintain and enhance the central commercial area of the City. Permitted uses include retail stores, restaurants, professional offices, banks, theaters, hotels, and government buildings. No minimum lot area is required. Buildings may be constructed to the front property line. Off-street parking requirements may be waived by the Planning Commission upon a finding that adequate public parking exists within 500 feet.
