§1501.09 Nonconforming Uses
Any lawful use of land or buildings existing at the effective date of this Code that does not conform to the regulations of the district in which it is located may be continued. A nonconforming use shall not be enlarged, extended, or moved to a different portion of the lot. If a nonconforming use is discontinued for a continuous period of 12 months, any subsequent use of the property shall conform to the regulations of the district in which it is located.
