The zoning regulations set forth in this Code are adopted for the purpose of promoting the public health, safety, comfort, morals, and general welfare of the Village of Granville. These regulations are designed to lessen congestion in the streets, to prevent the overcrowding of land, to facilitate the adequate provision of transportation, water, sewerage, schools, parks, and other public requirements.
