The Zoning Code of the Village of Put-in-Bay is enacted to regulate land use on South Bass Island in a manner that preserves the unique island character, protects the natural environment and Lake Erie shoreline, promotes a safe and enjoyable experience for residents and visitors, and balances the needs of the permanent community with seasonal tourism.
