The R-1 Island Residential District accommodates single-family homes and seasonal cottages. The minimum lot area shall be 10,000 square feet. The minimum lot width shall be 75 feet. The maximum lot coverage shall be 35 percent. Structures within 100 feet of the Lake Erie shoreline shall comply with the shoreline setback requirements of Section 1109.01. Short-term rental of residential properties requires a permit from the Village.
