The C-1 Downtown Commercial District is established to accommodate a mix of retail, office, service, and residential uses in the traditional downtown area. Buildings shall be constructed to the front property line. The maximum building height shall be four stories or 50 feet. Upper floors may be used for residential purposes. Off-street parking is not required for the first 2,000 square feet of commercial floor area. All mechanical equipment on rooftops shall be screened from view.
