Fences and walls shall be permitted in all districts subject to the following: no fence in a front yard shall exceed four feet in height, no fence in a side or rear yard shall exceed six feet in height, all fences shall be maintained in good repair, chain link fences shall not be permitted in the Historic District, and the finished side of any fence shall face the adjacent property or public right-of-way.
